„WERKSTADT GRAZ has become, albeit its foundation, 7 years ago, outside of the Internet, something as a virtual city”: Such was as they qualified themselves in 1995. In the meantime, “virtual urban buildings” and media expeditions were carried out by 150 international artists and researchers. Since 1979, they added different networks to the analogue rooms in Sporgasse 16 – networks accessible from all over the world.
